And it looks like the new Jetta has orange and green as well. I wonder if VW is finally going to start offering real colors here in the US

They should add winter filters so you can see the color buried under slush/ice/salt.

Because no one buys the 2-door models and the 4-door looks better and is more practical. I had a 2-door hatch as my DD prior to my 4-door GTI. I love having back doors. The blind spot is easily overcome by adjusting the wing-mirrors properly.
On the last two points; I have nothing. I tried to order the base model with the LSD. VW can’t be bothered to build it. I got the next trim level up and made my dealer swap in the glorious plaid cloth seats.
That cars weigh so much even though they are small is due to idiots who don’t wear their seat belts, poor driver training, lax enforcement of nearly every driving rule, and insurance companies essentially dictating policy so they can pay out less in the event of a vehicle collision. Yes crumple zones, energy dissipation, blah blah blah. Cars are just mobile puzzles and are easy to reassemble. Humans are squishy and fragile and cost vast sums of money and time to put back together.

I’m excited for a green option. Just not sure about that particular green. I’ve only seen poorly lit shots of it, so the verdict is still out. Hope I like it in person, as I’d love for this to be my next ride.

I stopped reading after this.
“the 4-door looks better”

Styling is subjective, but that is still a factual statement.
Also, I made some really good points, but feel free to ignore them.
EDIT: I dislike your comment because it comes across as being a snob. But, I’m guessing you’re mostly joking so I’m taking out some harsh words because they aren’t cool.
